All hearty, healthy and decadent meals can be created and served by the inimitable Chef Natalie Honig – if you’ve opted for her culinary services – from 10h00 until 12h30 throughout the week from Monday until Friday. She’ll escort you on an extraordinary culinary journey with her farm-to-fork philosophy – sourcing herbs, fruit and vegetables from the garden and dishing up unique feasting experiences. From traditional home-cooked meals to fine Italian cuisine, experimenting with exotic spices and robust flavours. You’ll be spoilt for choice with taste sensations that leave a long lingering mark on your palates. Coming from a chocolatier background, Chef Natalie is passionate about creating incredible desserts including the most indulgent strawberry truffles you’ll ever taste. For those with stringent dietary requirements, Chef Natalie will cater to your every need, and ensure you are as satiated as your fellow diners. Should you and your group wish to self-cater entirely, you are at liberty to do so.

Food & Wine
The region is revered for its incredible food and wine experiences. Noordhoek Village is only a 5-minute drive away from the property where Chef Franck Dangereux’s Foodbarn Restaurant is, together with coffee roasters, decadent ice-cream makers, a pub and a playground, organic delicatessens, souvenir shops and a yoga studio too. For a pint or two of a delicious craft beer, Aegir Brewery is no more than a 5-minute drive away, where the fabulous Italian eatery, Limoncello also sits, beneath the milkwoods. All major supermarkets and large convenience stores are located at the Long Beach Shopping Mall – just a 5-minute drive from the property.
Hiking & Cycling
For those that fancy a trail run, mountain biking or a steady hike into the hills, there are a number of scenic trails to explore the boundless terrain of the mountain. Silvermine’s hiking trails are on the doorstep. Just a gentle climb up into the mountain for some incredible views and lovely sunset spots. You’ll be in the company of the incredible birdlife that soar through the skies, some free-roaming small mountain wildlife including porcupine, tortoises, rock dassies, baboon and occasionally some small antelope too. They say that a walk in nature, walks the soul back home. Pack your snacks and your water bottles and venture out onto the pathways that lead you down some of the most breathtaking mountain trails South Africa has to offer. Should you wish to learn more about the flora and fauna of the majestic Table Mountain region, insightful guided walks can be arranged, provided they are booked in advance.
Horse Riding & Surfing
Perhaps you’d like to go horse riding on the beach, adding to the whole romance of your holiday. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or an absolute beginner, Dunes Horse Stables accommodates all levels of riders, with experienced equestrian groomsmen escorting you along the spectacular stretch of Long Beach.
