The Labia Theatre in the City Bowl District of Cape Town, located a few steps from the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Gardens – a lovely spot to have a cup of tea and a few scones afterwards – is often viewing some of the greatest classics of all time when it comes to film, as well as the necessary current blockbusters. When it’s time to put your feet up and snack on some popcorn, head to the oldest independent movie theatre in town. Grab a tipple and settle for the story.

The Iziko South African museum – the country’s oldest museum – in the Company’s Garden, Cape Town – houses a plethora of species with significant importance, as well as a Planetarium. From fossils, to ancient insects and historical tools.
